Description
I discovered that when you create a new analysis with Mussa in windows and click run, it causes the program to crash. No meaningful error message is reported. The data I used which caused the crash is the SMN1 data on the Example Data page. I used Human, Mouse, Dog... in that order.

Surprisingly, changeset:398 fixed this problem... Apparently the motif scanning code was at fault.

Note in previous comment I referred to v1.1 of smn1 example data... This version is now version 1.0.1.

See TracTickets

So far I have narrowed the offending code down to the /alg/sequence.cpp load_annot function.
Also, I discovered that the example data (both dna & annotations) had html markup in them. They worked fine on Diane's Mac. Also, when I removed the html markup (now posted as version 1.1, but sadly, I am still getting the same windows error.
Investigating further...
